Now open in Phoenix, The Joy Bus Diner™ is a 100% nonprofit restaurant that’s helping make our Valley a tastier, happier place, one meal at a time. Serving hearty, made-to-order breakfast and lunch fare every Thursday – Sunday from 7am – 2pm, every cent earned will be used to support The Joy Bus, a local charity that’s been bringing chef-inspired meals and caring conversations to cancer patients Valley-wide.

For 15 years, Jennifer Caraway and The Joy Bus Diner™ have been a lifeline for homebound persons with cancer across the Valley and a staple in the community. What started as a grassroots effort to honor her friend Joy has grown into a sophisticated nonprofit organization dedicated to nutrition and social connection. By helping to bridge the gap between the local food community and those in medical crisis, Caraway has built a network of support that includes top-tier culinary talent and local farms. Fifteen years in, the mission remains the same: delivering medically tailored meals, a friendly face and an open ear to those who need it most.
